Our Story

Eats Mesquite Grill was established in 1991 in the bustling industrial corridor along Hempstead Highway. The restaurant was owned and operated by Marwan “Mark” Foteh for 35 years, until he passed away peacefully into the Hands of our Lord on March 9, 2026. The restaurant is now operated by his children, as they continue the legacy Mark built.

Mark created a special culture at his restaurant. He showed up every day for 35 years, ready to greet and serve his customers with an infectious smile that lit up the entire restaurant. Known for his warmth and friendly service, he knew many of his customers by name. He’d often take a break from work to sit and chat with them as they enjoyed their breakfast or lunch. He loved everyone and was truly a friend to all.

Grilled using local, Texas-grown Mesquite wood, our dishes are known for their unique, smoky flavor. We're proud to serve breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday with a large, diverse menu that's big on flavor and full of Texas favorites. From our best-selling breakfast tacos to our sizzling fajitas, or our fresh salads to our mesquite-grilled specialties like the Ribeye Steak Sandwich or Philly Cheesesteak Hoagie, there's something for every appetite. Beyond our dine-in experience, we make enjoying your favorites easy with online ordering, a call-ahead drive-thru window, and catering services for any occasion.
